Ways we play.

My thesis work: “Ways we play, a thesis on play in the context of time, space and form”was derived from my interest in the connection between play and sustainability. I mainly approached this concept on its connection to the public space.

I wanted to discover what the definition is of a play space. And could these lines be blurred. Should there be regulation around play spaces, should there be fences around playgrounds?

Through this research I created a game using a biomaterial made from eggshells. I wanted to see if an alternative to plastic could be used for toy-creation. One that is meant to degrade through time, just as people grow up, why not let the game grow (or rather fade) with them?
